How I Collect Your Information: Through website contact forms, When you contact me via phone, e-mail or social media, During initial consultation and therapy sessions, When you sign consent forms or complete client intake forms
Why I Collect Your Data - To provide hypnotherapy services safely and ethically, To manage appointments and communication, To comply with legal obligations (e.g. insurance / tax records), with consent for marketing e-mails (you can opt out at any time).
Legal Basis For Processing - Consent; For marketing and initial contact, Contract; To provide therapy services, Legal obligation; Tax, record keeping and Safeguarding issues, Vital interests; If there is a risk of serious harm, I may share necessary information with appropriate authorities
How I Store Your Data - Session notes and client forms are stored securley (password protected or locked files), Electronic data may be stored on encrypted devices or GDPR compliant platforms (e.g. Google Workspace etc.), I retain therapy records for 7 YEARS after the end of treatment, as recommended by professional guidelines.
Sharing Of Data: I do NOT share your data with third parties unless; You give explicit, written consent, There is a legal obligation or Safeguarding concern, I use GDPR compliant platforms (e.g. web host, email provider etc.)
Your Rights: Under GDPR you have the right to; Access your personal data, Request correction of inaccurate information, Request deletion (Subject to legal exceptions), Object to processing, Withdraw consent at any time, Lodge a complaint with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office)
